I was the kid that would be at the other end of the soccer field, just playing with the dandelions. I was the kid that would wake up early during the summer to go outside and catch grasshoppers this would be before I discovered my fear of insects. I remember laying in the grass in the warm summer sun deciding which cloud looked like a shoe … and which one looked like a dolphin wearing a hat. I remember waking up in a humid tent, hearing the bugs buzzing and birds chirping when my parents would take me camping in the summer. I’ve always loved being in nature. To this day, I would pick a day of kayaking and hiking over a day at the mall. Since I’ve started my photography business, I’ve focused so much on photographing people that sometimes I overlook the ground and the sky. While I was editing my recent sessions, I picked a few of my ‘nature’ shots out and decided to share them. In black & white. Enjoy!
