Is there anything more exciting than receiving a little box full of new business cards? Well, maybe there are a few things that are more exciting, but it’s still a pretty big deal. Obviously photography is my passion, but graphic design has a big part in my life. I think the two really work well with each other … and I would probably get bored if I had to focus on just one thing for too long. Moving on …
My good friend Susi has spent months developing her own business and working hard for her woman owned business certification. This is a big deal! Susi and I have been working together to develop the branding for her new business, and it all came full circle this week when her new business cards arrived. My main objective of this design was to convey a message of the following: communication, simplicity, ‘professional but fun’. I believe I found a good balance with this logo. Can’t wait to see what the future holds for Wolf Run Marketing … I have a feeling it will be a big year!

Susi wanted some congruence between her business cards and her blog, so we made a custom header to personalize her blog.

Branding:: Foto Bella Photography
By Ravyn StadickRecently, I had the privilege of designing a logo for Jessica, the girl behind the camera of Foto Bella Photography. Jessica contacted me via Twitter (hooray for social networking actually paying off), and we started working on her brand. She loves all things European and she knew she wanted her design to be classic and playful. Her only color requirement: Red. I was thinking passion, vibrance, and style. Since Jessica is located in Denver, CO, we were unable to meet in person, but even over the phone I could hear her enthusiasm for her blossoming business and her brand. Jessica, I’m so glad we got to work together. I love that you realized the impact a powerful brand can have on your business, and I’m so excited to see how your business grows! Now, everyone should go check out Jessica’s blog!
I love love love my business card vendor. The cards are smooth and dreamy. The stock they use is super thick, which conveys a message of quality to the people you hand your card to.
I love photography … but I also LOVE designing. If you’re still trying to nail down your logo, let’s talk! I would love to work with you to find a design that reflects you and your brand. Be sure to contact me, and we’ll figure it out!
