Sabrina’s Senior Session :: Sneak Peek

By Ravyn Stadick

I met with Sabrina and her mom this week for her senior photography session. Sabrina is one of my 2010 Senior Reps, so I was so excited when we got together. I’ll have the full post later this week, but for now, here’s a sneak peek!

Fall Mini Sessions

By Ravyn Stadick

**This post has been pinned to the top of my blog. Please be sure to scroll past this for my most recent work**

Can you believe that summer is more than 1/2 way over? It’s crazy how fast time flies when you’re having fun. In this case, I’m pretty glad that the hot weather will be subsiding soon, giving way to that amazing Indiana Fall weather I love so much.

To celebrate my favorite season, I’ve decided to host another mini session event. The mini sessions last Spring were so much fun. I was able to meet new clients and catch up with others that I hadn’t seen since the previous Fall. The sessions are the perfect chance to have your photos made for your Holiday greeting cards. Since all photos will be edited within two weeks of your session, there will be plenty of time to have your cards made.

What is a mini session? A mini session is just like a regular shoot with Ravyn Stadick Photography … just mini. Since time is limited, we will be working quickly to catch the moment. This means the photos will be full of life and genuine. These sessions are great for families, couples, children and anyone else who loves to get outside and have fun … oh yeah, and I’ll make sure you look pretty! :) Send me an email: photos@ravynstadick.com or contact me using the form on my website to get more information about the mini sessions.

Here’s the scoop!

  • This year, the mini sessions will take place Saturday October 16th and Sunday October 17th.
  • Mini sessions will cost $100.00 which will include a DVD of your images from the session.
  • Your session will last exactly 25 minutes … Be sure you’re there on time. There will be clients in the next time slot, we want to be sure you have as much time as possible for your photos.
  • Expect 10-20 final, edited images which will be loaded onto your own personal online gallery for 30 days. You and your family & friends can order prints directly from the website
  • You will receive a CD of your images with the print release which means you can print them anywhere. I will give you a list of my favorite local and online printers.
  • If you take part in a mini session, your name will be entered to win a free set of customized Holiday cards.
  • A typical session with Ravyn Stadick Photography is $125 plus $300 for the CD of images. This is a great time to take advantage of this promotion!
  • Additional prints can be purchased separately

The mini sessions will be taking place at an outside park in Indianapolis. When you contact me, please let me know which day works best for you, and I’ll send you two time slots to choose from. Slots will be available at 10:00 AM until 6:00 PM. Payment is required in order to book your session. I accept checks as well as credit cards (through PayPal). It’s simple! I’ll send you the portrait agreement, and we’ll go from there!

I can’t wait to make your photos!

In the event of rain, the mini sessions will take place on October 23rd & 24th.

2010:: January – July Slideshow

By Ravyn Stadick

I know I updated you on my 101 in 1001 list last week, and seeing as though the year is now 1/2 over (CRAZY!), I thought I’d share a slideshow of my sessions so far this year.

I want to send a huge, giant, big THANK YOU to all of my clients that I’ve had the privilege of working with so far this year … and for those of you that I will work with before the year is done, I can’t wait!

Carter:: Cake Smash

By Ravyn Stadick

Where do I even start? It’s always hardest to write the blog posts for the ones that you’re closest to. Plus, little Mr. Carter is the craziest, sweetest, funniest two-year old I’ve ever seen. He makes me laugh every time I see him, and he is a little genius. Seriously. Carter will be turning 3 years old on the 15th, which I absolutely cannot believe. Carter’s mommy is Sheri … Sheri is my best friend. I was super excited when she asked me to do a cake smash session with Carter for his birthday. I didn’t know exactly what to expect, especially since I’ve only done cake smash sessions with 1 year-olds, but Carter definitely didn’t disappoint. He lived up to his reputation of being that crazy, sweet, funny little boy we all know and love! Happy early birthday Carter!!!

One of my favorites … Those eyes! So cute!

This is what happens when Carter decides he wants a bath … instead of being covered in frosting. Haha.

Okay … this next one is my favorite of favorites. Sheri, you made one pretty baby boy!!! So cute!

David, Ashley & Addy:: Family Session

By Ravyn Stadick

I hope that everyone had a wonderful 4th of July!! J and I spent lots of time with family, friends and each other … It was a lovely little weekend. Now, it’s Monday, which means it’s back to the grindstone. We did take a trip to the Traders Point Creamery over the weekend. I got some really fun shots while we were there … and I’ll be sure to share them soon.

I shared the sneak peek of this session about two weeks ago … and I’ve been excited about the full session since then. Let’s just get this out of the way now: Ashley and I share the same birthday. Same day … same year. How cool is that? She totally gets extra coolness points for that one! I’ve never met anyone else with my birthday, so I’ve been excited to tell everyone, ha. Currently, Ashley and her little family are on vacation in California (jealous!), and I am sure they are having a blast. San Diego is one of my favorite places, plus it’s probably not 109459754 degrees with 400% humidity there!
