Traders Point Creamery

By Ravyn Stadick

A few weeks ago, J and I went to a local, organic dairy farm, Traders Point Creamery. Even though we were only about 1/4 mile from the main road, it seemed like we were out in the middle of nowhere. I’ve never been to a working farm in my life, so it was pretty cool to experience an organic operation like theirs.

Once I saw the cows, I was in love.

This little baby was born just a day or so before our visit. So precious.

I love this photo.

After exploring the farm, we went to the Loft for lunch. The cheeses at the farm are soooo good, and this ice cream was the bomb. Yes, I just said that!

It's interesting to hear about other peoples lives. It's hard to believe you've never been to a farm. When I was growing up we had our own chickens, turkeys, and pigs. Our area is very agricultural and Alberta beef is known world wide. It's funny that you just automatically assume that the whole world grew up the same as you did. Now put me in NY and I'd be lost!
